Just called got quoted $875 for the suggested 3000-3400 stall and $450 for 2200-2400 stall with a $200 dollar core charge on the 2200 stall

I've used a 2500 from Hughes Performance in 3 cars. Two gm one mopar and they worked well. Ordered them from Summit. Reasonable price.

I would never order a "off the shelf" converter. They might be a better price, but a crap shoot on how it will work for your combo. Call any reputable converter company and let them tell you what you need. They might even recommend a lower priced "off the shelf" converter, but you will not know until you ask.
PS: advertised stall speed is a total crock. I have tried two different engines in my car. Everything else the same. Stall speed was about 900 rpm different.

Just went with Andre at edge perfomance recommended by @Charrlie_S out in Simi Valley CA $625 shipped 3000 stall for my combo!

Just installed the 2800 -3000 stall converter and man this combo really woke up!

Andre told me that I would be better off running my 3.55 gear set versus the 3.91 now with the high stall converter the difference would not be worth the swap, what do you guys think?
