When I got it everything seemed fine then after driving it a few times it would start chugging and lurching forward when it got around 50 then it started at about 35 now I can't go 20 feet with out it dieing why am I cursed like this?

Clogged fuel filter, something in the tank being picked up by inlet and starving for fuel. Carb float stuck. Fuel line collapse. Loose nut behind the wheel. Sorry had to throw that in. Lol!

Check for dirt or water in the carb / filter. This is why you dont fill up while the tanker is dropping gas in the tank at a gas station. It stirs up the crap in the bottom of the tank.
From what you described, this is where I would start.

I'm sure it's getting fuel as I can smell it but that about all I know distributor has been tight fuel filter isn't that old but I'll replace it was planning on new plugs wires and ballast resistor I'll investigate fuel lines and pump but I'm confident it's getting the fuel but I'm open to any tips or advice I just wanna go fast again lol

Is the exhaust manifold heat block-off stuck closed?

Super common.

I once got the filter wet in my 70RR (440-6 air grabber) and it was AMAZING how much more power it made with the filter out LOLOL)
