Rebuild in progress and want to run on the stand without the a/c unit. Anyone have an idler pulley for sale or know where I can get one? Know the part number I need?

Welll... depending on the year, don't be surpprised if the water pump pulley doesn't line up with the alternator. The belt routing might be crank/AC/alternator and crank/water pump/power steering.
Since you're just running it on the stand, skip the alternator and just get a belt for the crank/water pump. You can size it right so you don't need a tensioner. Just run a piece of string around the 2 pullies, tie it off and take it to the parts store. Have them size it to a matching belt.

if you are using a 70-up set up you'll need the proper pulleys and alt. bracket to do it the right way/

proper routing for a 70-up set up. there are other ways to rout the belts that are not correct and could result in throwing belts and or not spinning the water pump and ps pumps at the proper speeds.. you need the matched of pulleys and the proper alt. bracket.
