You need to be more specific on the "340 d4b manifold" .

There are 3 versions of that manifold:

1. The LD340, which was made for the 340/360 ports.

2. The LD4B, which was made for the 66-69 273's and all 318's with the smaller ports.

The LD340 and LD4B will bolt onto either engine, it's just a matter of getting the ports matched better with the heads and intake.

3. The D4B, which is the same as the LD4B, but made for the early 64-65 273 that has the unique intake bolt hole angles in the heads.

They are all basically the same intake manifold, just "adapted" for each specific application. However, the D4B will not bolt up to the "standard" small block heads. It is made special for the unique 64-65 heads. Therefore the D4B is NOT for a 273, 318, 340, 360 unless someone put the 64-65 273 heads on it.

The other two intakes are for the other style of heads (all 66 and later) and will bolt up to each one, it's just best to use the proper one for the heads to get the best port matching.

Maybe a little more clarification as to which manifold that you have will help you with the sale. There is a demand for these intakes as they run very well. You just need to target the proper audience and specifying exactly which one that you have will help.

Do you have the D4B or the LD4B?

Thank you all for taking the time to help me sort out the parts I have/dont have and the poor job of posting my location for you all that were interested.

I will post pictures when I can get to the parts.

Thank you for understanding
