340 in Northwest CT.06018

I have 340 all apart from intake to oil pan believe is a 1-9-70 date code but will check if someone is interested and local for pick up.The block has been tanked and stored in my home.The heads are J casting 2.02 and were gone thru a while back,but have not been altered.I paid a $1000 for the whole deal a few years ago,and I am listening to offers?I am in CT.06018 and for now would like this to be for pick up and cash only as I want to persue a different project at this time.Heres a couple of pics(the block is in plastic as an end table)and the heads.I can get better pics of everything to anyone serious about buying this engine.

Sorry about that I should have posted that all those grilles that were not for my own cars have been sold.

whats been done to the block??? std bore???

Heres what was written on the engine when it was bought
Nice block its still on standard bore casting date is 1-9-70 and oil pan rail is B38.There has never been a blow up in this engine all the bottoms of the bores are nice,no chips from a rod hitting them.It comes with the J heads that had a valve job a while ago but have been sitting around and have never been ported.forged crank that would clean up at 0.10 all 8 rods and pistons,oil pan,windage tray,pick up,timing cover,dampner,valve covers and intake all come with it.

yep, it,s tough out there, short blocks goin for 500.00 and complete engines for 1000.00. BAD MARKET....

Just a bump,the holley intake and headers are now being used for something else.Heres a couple of better pics from today.
