[WANTED] 340 Main caps and bolts needed.

In need of a set of 340 bolts and main caps.

Had a set found and deal made and waited a month until seller informed me after about 20 emails that he sold them to another person.

I have a set of 318 main caps if that can work for you. Not as beefy as the 340 caps but will certainly work.

What does the other side look like?

Just an observation, those caps look like they are from a 360 based on the missing lateral rubber seal grooves at the rear main seal. But that's just me. LOL!

If you measure the journal diameter across the opening and get the following approximate numbers you will know whether it is a 360 or 273/318/340 journal size cap.

~ 2 5/8” = 273/318/340 journal size

~ 2 7/8” = 360 journal size

Without the bearing, the cap dimension is approximately 2 11/16" for the 273/318/340 engines

340 are taller and thicker and bolts are longer.
