360 cam help

i have a 78 heavy duty 360 four barrel and 727 trany came out of an rv with 52,000 miles. i drove rv befor pulling motor and run good, i now have motor pulled apart to install new gaskets and paint. motor have the 596 smog heads i have already pluged off the holes. this is going into a 68 valiant 2 door to replace the 273, what would be a good cam for this motor ? it will be street driven, im installing headers, alum intake, useing the 727 trany and converter that came out of the rv, the bottom end is stock and i think compression is like 8.4 to 1 any idea on cam for this setup ?? thanks

Just put this cam in pretty much the same setup. It rips. Sounds even better than the sound clip on this link and has real good power. Hughes Whiplash cam. Made just for this application.

Stock Hwy gears in the rear?
7-1/4 rear?

yes stock gears 7 1/4 for now till i find 8 34 to replace
