I'm looking to install a rebuilt 360 into my '65 Cuda, which had a 273 until a couple of weeks ago. The engine is a fresh rebuild, and I need it to mate to my A-833 manual transmission with a minimum of fuss. I know that the rear of the crankshaft needs to mate properly, and the bore is different for whether its a manual or automatic. I have no experience in distinguishing between the two. Can anyone provide any pics that clearly shows the difference? It would be nice to know this before I bought the motor.

Thanks!

if it isnt machined, dont worry - the main crank register is the same for automatics and manuals (it is the smaller pilot hole that might not be machined out correctly) somewhere along the way chrysler stopped machining out the pilot hole and used a roller bearing in the main register to adapt down to the input shaft. it is part number 53009180AB.
