I was told they are 360 heads, the only #'s below the valvetrain are 345, besides the time stamp. Just below the exhaust ports are air injection ports which are plugged with set screws.

Anyone know what the heads are off of ?, what year?
Thanks again. :salut:

First look for a 7 digit casting number on the intake runner and check and measure the valve size if you can.If you have a small hole just below the exhaust port you have the 360 air pump heads. Now are these heads magnum heads or the old school heads? Some of the casing numbers for the 360 are these:

I know the heads were modified there's 2.08 intake valves in there now. I'm not sure if these are the old style or not.
Thanks for the reply. :salut:

And they're currently mounted to the block. I pulled the intake in order to blast the body paint he used on the engine. NOT HIGH TEMP ENGINE PAINT.

Dave, if you take a small mirror and light and look under the head you will see a casting number in the lifter valley under the intake ports.Go to my old site,or click o the link to see what I mean, mrmopartech

Thanks Mrmopartech, Love that site tons of usefull info. THANKS AGAIN

I'll guess they are the newer style as the numbers are 4448308. :salut:

I believe those are 89-92 swirl-port 360 heads...pulled a set and the A-518 tranny from a '91 D-250 van at the local 'Pull-A-Part' for $135 last summer. Casting number on the heads had the 308. Suppose to be a very efficient head and a good candidate for building a well-rounded engine.
