360 LA vs 5.9 Magnum oil pan

Will the 360 LA oil pan fit on a 5.9 Magnum engine?

according to this Hot Rod article, the 360 La pan will work if you use the la 360 oil pan gasket, don't use the Magnum gasket.

yes...use the LA gasket with the LA pan...

As others have said the magnum gasket will not work. It will leak on one side rail. Ask me how I know.

yep, had to drop mine and put a little smutz on it to get it to seal.
