I have the 727 tanny on the motor and it's in a 65 barracuda any suggestions on driveshaft set up have the ypke just looking for insight on proper size I'm getting 52.5 inches leaving 1/16 to an 1/8 of slop. Found one on speedway motors but I'm new to the motor swapping and I want it right like so many others

Don't forget; you need to have your pinion angle set before you measure cause your driveshaft moves back and forth both as the suspension cycles; AND as the pinion wraps up with power application; and down with application of brakes or downshifting or lifting off the throttle.

I just plugged a drive shaft in from Speedway. It was built by Fastshafts, a local builder for them. Great service...arrived here in CA 7 (SEVEN!!!) days after ordering. It looks like a well done piece!

As for measuring, FOLLOW the instructions on their website. Mine was spot on!
