383 A body front sway bar same as 340?

[65 Cuda 340]

Right now I have the front sway bar from my non-running 69 Cuda 383 on the front of my 67 Barracuda. I know the 383 torsion bars were bigger (.890 vs. .870). Can't remember about the sway bars, though. At some point I will need to put a sway bar back on the 69. Just wondering if a 340 bar would be the same.

BTW the larger sway bars could be had with a suspension package, not specifically engine related.

my 273 2bbl 67 dart has the 892/893 bars and sway bar

the big block bar is bigger than the small block bar.

i want to say the small block bar was 7/8 and the big block was 15/16?

I’m not sure what was used in ‘67 but the bar diameter for ’68’s and ‘69’s with big blocks were .92 in diameter.

68 & 69 340 bars were .88 diameter, 68-69 383 were .92 diameter except for 67 383 which was .88 diameter...

Looking in the Jan 68 revision of the 67 parts book, I can only find one front sway bar part number for A bodies.

I measured my OEM bar on my 67 Ralley suspension package - 0.874" dia
