What will be your best engine HP guess from the following set up.

360 stroked to 414, 11.5 C.R
Indy 360-1, full porting and polish
Cam, duration @ 0.50, 260, 264. / .656" lift.
950 CFM carb

Should easily be over 600hp........ provided it’s getting choked down with tiny headers.

Almost enough for a grocery getter????

LOL! Good luck with the build! Look forward to it.

Should go real good as long as components match; converter or clutch, and gears.

Here we go again guessing with zero info. What the HELL is full porting and polished. Where can I get full porting done because I never see it advertised. The 360-1 heads suck unless they were ported RIgHT. And without numbers great guessing guys. Lmfao.

But he didn’t say they were cnc’d heads. Here’s Indy’s heads in different versions but I wouldn’t put a lot of faith in Indy’s flow numbers. Hopefully that will change with the new owners. If you take your heads to Joe blow down the street fully ported may mean he hit them with a sanding roll.

My 360-1s (which I didnt port, but have definitely been nicely done) were I think... if I remember correctly, high 320s at .650

Very nice I haven’t looked at my flow sheet in awhile but I know they were in the 320’s too. Now that I’m capable of doing competition valve jobs I’ll be hitting them again for my 422. I think they will hold a bigger valve size. Hmmmm

You got that right !!!! ....

I found out yesterday that the heads I have, which had been ported and hand blended barely flow 239 cfm (intake) @ .600, and 181 cfm (exhaust).

These are the famous Procomp heads ( that btw explode ).........

I will place a new Thread on this subject.
