440 build

ok guys im looking for ideas on a nice build for 440 for 76 ramcharger its my mud truck it already has a 440 in it but i have a spare 440 block that i want to build for it. ill be taking it to mud bogs and any mud holes lol. so i was thinkin on a 500 stroker motor just for the torque but i dont really now were else to go with it so any ideas would be great!!!

If you are taking your truck to organized events, I would get a copy of the rules first.

As an example: www.iracemud.com/classrules.asp

See what the different classes allow as to engine modifications. There will probably be vacuum at idle rules and cylinder head and cubic inch rules. Some classes require iron heads.

i dont think so much organized events just some randome events around my area

Click on the Big block dart section,should give you a few ideas.I live by Pismo Beach.Some of the 4xs are nuts out here.
