I am putting a 440 big block in a 74 Duster, car was originally a 340 car.
Any suggestions on a suspension for the front? I want it to not sit high in the air.

You can run the 340 suspension, but most (including myself) will recommend 1" torsion bars and better shocks. The front end height is adjustable, so there is no problem there. Bigger torsion bars will allow you to run lower with less chance of bottoming out.

You can also build a copy of the old Direct Connection k-member out of your small block one.

Thanks . Any shock recommendations?

What you do for exhaust will greatly affect your ride height decision.

Shocks depend mostly on what you are after. For a cruiser basic modern gas charged shocks are light years better than these cars had from the factory. For the handling crowd, Bilsteins are good (as are others).
