B ACK SPACING mini tub duster

i am finely to the point of putting wheels on the duster i have my front wheels ordered my question is rear wheels first i am putting cragers and i have mini tub the car what back space and how wide of rim can i get under this car? i could also use some advise on tire size any help would be appreciated.

Mine are 15 x 10 with 4.5 backspace. Factory frame rails, mini tub with the leaf springs moved in line with the frame

It is a Hoosier Pro Street 29 x 12.50 -15 radial

I have a 73 Duster with a mini tub and the stock frame rail, but it is a ladder bar car. Should be the same room as the leafs under the frame rail. I have 15x10s with 5.5" backspace with a 28x10.5-15 tires. Should have gone to 6" or 6.5" backspace, but the 5.5s work and probably would look better.

My car has a narrowed Dana 60, so that is probably why mine has less backspace

Mine is a stock width A body 8-3/4". I should have mentioned that.

Impossible to answer without knowing what rear axle width you have under the car. A factory width A axle will need a ton of backspace on a 10" rim to center it in the wheelhouse, around 7.25-7.5"

On a minitubbed Duster there is typically about 14.5-15" of Wheelhouse width available.

Tire size, I've had 315/15 MT's under a mini tubbed Duster.

I did a spreadsheet that will get you close centering the tire in your wheelhouse. Send a PM with an email address if you would like a copy

Pay attention to this answer ^^^^^^ Also I'll add this tidbit. NO two of these cars is the same. NONE. Since they were assembled with widely varying tolerances, something that fits on one, may not fit on another and that goes for cars that have been modified too, since even the body panel attachment isn't necessarily the same. So MEASUREMENT is key here, because what fits on one, may not fit on yours.
