440 pressurized oil tap for Accumulator??

I am installing an accumulator on my 69 440 block. Is there a pressurized oil port I can tap into on the bock?(already exists with an excisting plug)
i would rather not install a remote oil filter to plumb my accumulator into-More stuff to potentially leak plus existing oil filter location is fantastic!!

not sure if there is a better place on a 440, but i've seen them into the oil pressure sender port with a "Y" tap

That is a great idea but i wonder if its big enough??? What do you think?

Yep! Off the back of the block. There should be 2 ports there. One for the oil sending unit and one opposite with a plug in it. Remove the plug and tap in there! Its a larger port that can be used for your purpose.
