That’s what we been needing for a long time. Hopefully they’re as good as we want/desire. Thanks for filling the void we desperately needed. Thanks for posting this duke oy440 Kim

Yup. Still doesn’t make it true because it’s not unless it’s machined to a specific combination it isn’t a bolt together deal.
That might be what they do considering they offer complete rotating assemblies too. Time will tell I supposed

Could also depend on their definition of “ready to assemble “. I’ve seen some kits that are “ready to assemble” that state finishing machine work required.

Right. How does 440 source know what rings you will use? They don’t.

They also don’t know what deck height you need.

They ALL need machine work.

I hope everything goes as planned for 440 source and customers with the new block. Looking for old blocks is getting harder and chances of finding one that has nice sonic check numbers are getting less due to numbers.
Typically easier to improve a product than start from scratch. Should be a heck of an improvement over OEM. Plus the expectations have changed of the castings.
This is a big step for the continued use of big blocks. Excited to see it.

Same.

I know it’s foreign castings but even Edlebrock and comp have now gone foreign foundries for some of their stuff. So options aren’t many

The main webbing looks beefy.

They should be able to machine the block to fit the parts they sell. For example if you order their stroker kit and their block. I don't see how that would be any different than taking their stroker kit and your block to your machinist to have it machined up. In either case you have to trust that the work is being done correctly.
