440RB prestone leak through head bolt?

Do the center lower head bolts or maybe header bolts go into the water jackets on stock cast heads? I have a leak on the right side of the block and appears to be coming around the head bolt.

Header bolt holes go into the water jackets. Sometimes the freeze plugs leak.

Thanks; I knew on the small block they did. not too familiar on big block. Freeze plug looks good. Maybe this will explain the header leak too.

Yep. Always silicone the threads on the header bolts.

I didn't know head bolts went into the water jackets, just doesn't seem right but I do know the header bolts do.
