Way,way back some pros built low deck hemis and that was it. No more. Finished. Must not have had any real advantage.

With the Trick Flow heads it all comes down to how much hp you want and at what rpm.If you can get it to hook build the big boy and let it eat.

With all the cranks/rods/pistons available on a BBC journal there is no real savings either way IMO.
