Bracket race is free with the admission..... I wonder if I could cut a light worth anything in the Van..... I'm expecting a 2.6 60 ft :D LOL

351w shortblock out of a van, 9.9:1 cr, cast iron speedmaster heads 1.94 intake, 1.6 exhaust, 58cc swirl combustion chambers. 185cc intake runners, .488 lift 224@.050 112*cl (b303)cam, chineesium rpm knockoff intake. Headers are still inbound, Paradox mufflers, 2.5 exhaust. C6 auto with PTC 10" converter, 3200-3500 stall. Was going to swap to the 9" but out of time so 8" with 2.9:1 highway gears and another 3rd member with spool and 4.62:1 gears for track. 275 60 r15 drag radials, caltracs, double adjustable Viking shocks. Street demon carb with polymer body, pertronix ignitor in a stock dizzy. Blake from Bad Tree is bringing the extra 3rd member down for me from Iowa.

I'm impressed. Those gears should make a lot of difference.

The 4.62s should be sufficient. My 4.11s will be here tomorrow for the 9" going in Vixen. That should be just right when I do the T5 swap. It'll have a 2.79 final ratio in OD.

Should be good with the 28" tall drag radials for sure.

I would certainly think so. Might even be a tad tall, but I'd run them and see. I think with the extra cubes of the 351, that will make up for it.
 
You could always take both.
 
13 days and 53 subs to go! I will make it on the subs but dang its looking like it will be down to the wire.
 
You can do it! Even if you have to hang around outside the gate with a sandwich sign begging for your last few subs! Unfortunately I won't be there to meet you. I was really looking forward to it! Good luck bud!
