Intake originally was for a 64-65 273. Somewhere along the line the intake holes were drilled out to fit on 66 and up 273-318 engines. Now I understand it can still be used on a 64-65 273 with washers for the smaller 5/16” bolts. It has had one of the water outLet bolt holes repaired. Has one 5/16” and one 3/8” Look at the pictures. $250.00 Shipped in the USA

Does this intake perform that much better than the stock 4 barrel intake or the Edelbrock version? 65'

How will this fit on my 64-65 273 if it has been drilled? Would I need inserts or just a large washer over the bolt holes?

I've always read people just using washers, but shouldnt be hard to press some inserts in to take up the "slack"? Use washers as well just in case?

From what I understand you just use a quality flat washer.
