Wander over to the forums at "Binder planet." There's a section on there dedicated to adapting GM fuel system components to just about anything

My understanding is, the GM stuff "of that era" used a form of EPROM, don't quote me on which type. Thanks to China, the www, and other reasons, you can get blank proms and a burner pretty cheap, and burn your own program.

Are you aware of Megasquirt?

"Pishta" on here is doing a /6 EFI conversion I think using Megasquirt.

Seeing as how the '87 Celebrity didn't run worth a ****, I fail to see how this is some sort of upgrade.

Do a search on slantsix.org, a member did a Aspen with megasquirt controls,Clifford intake that had the injection bosses cast in, and used a Jeep throttle body. Worked out well and is his daily driver. There is also a You Tube video of it running.

Explain what parts of the 87 Celebrity you are considering. Was that a 4 cyl engine? Unlikely that any other engine's intake manifold would fit a slant. I plan to adapt a V-6 injector rail to my slant manifold someday, and even bought the parts, "should work" (don't quote me).
