Does anyone know of a good set up for my throttle linkage? I own a 1975 dodge dart Swinger with a 318. I recently switched carb from a edelbrock (1408) to a 600cm holley. the motor runs good just don't like the way i have the stock linkage set up. throttle cable runs up hill and would like it to pull more straighter. Are there any brackets a person can buy to replace the oem set up. Or any other idea's.

Thanks Dan

What intake do you have? There are a few different brackets on Ebay that Rick Ehrenberg sells that might work for you.

You went downhill with that swap, btw. The Edelbrock is much better. JMO. Wanna sell it?

yes ill sell it. i couldn't get it to idle with out loading up. i put a new kit in it and new floats. floats were set right. i just got sick of messing with it. i was told it was to big a carb for the stock 318 with out rejetting it. (edelbrock intake)

Just get the adapter bracket and use the stud from the original linkage to attach the cable and kick down to.

Post some pictures of what you have...
