61 Valiant Toy

I wouldn't touch it, probably worth more that way too....neat toy :glasses7:

I would restore it ...make it look like when she first got it ...rewind the hands of time....plus it looks like a fun project

Send it to American Restoration. For about $2500.00 they will make it look new!! I would live it along if it was mine. JMO

I would leave it alone.
Not sure what they are worth ( some tin toy cars are very pricey) but you might find another one to restore.

I,d restore it, you can still find them new in box every now and then.

It has patina, and it's only original once...

Absolutely, leave it just the way it is! It was her own little hand that played with it, banged it into things, and shook the sand out of in the sandbox. Restoring it would erase that embedded history - don't do it. Please display it on a lower shelf, where another generation of children can play with it too.

Regarding that New Old Stock tin Valiant, there's something sad about a toy that a child never played with. Worse is a toy which a child owned but was never allowed to bash around because it might get scratched.
