[WANTED] 62-65 19 Tooth Speedo Gear

Hello, I am looking for a 19 tooth speedometer gear for a 65 Formula S Cuda. Based on the tire diameter of 24.5" and 3.91 gear ratio. These gears are specific to 62-65 model years.

Hey 65 Dartman, unfortunately the chart I have doesn't list the colors for the various speedo gears. Do you have various tooth count gears available?

hi , hey my parts guy uses this guy for speedo stuff , he is an older gentleman works part time , his name is john his contact # is 800-327-1955 , and guys he will have a few questions regarding your trans case numbers on the pan rail , tailstock casting # , gears , tire size , ect ... be prepared . know what you got and call him , great guy to deal with .

19 tooth would be dark blue. I am pretty sure that the 3.91 rear gears require a Stewart Warner .800 adapter.

I'm running a 19 tooth gear in my 64 Belvedere wagon. I have a 26.1" tire and a 2.94 gear and the speedo is just about right on. I used to have 3.23 gears and with the 19 tooth gear the speedo was reading about 7% high. I have looked for years for a 20 or a 21 tooth gear, but have come up empty handed so far. The 19 tooth gear that I have is green in color.

Here is a pic I just took from the 65 FSM for the slant/273 with the 904

I think you need a 21 tooth gray gear. The only ones I have are brown (16) and purple (18).

Hey 65Dartman, I believe you are correct! I have the A904 LA transmission listed in the photo. I should probably change my post! Thx for all your help, Walt
