Hi all. I finally got my 9" drum rear end and springs pulled today. Those Ubolt nuts are a ***** to get off. Near killed this broken old body with two bad elbows.
I have another 7 1/4" rear to install with 10" drums, I want to replace the springs since the rear sits low and am looking at the ESPO springs n things site. I am wondering if I should just replace the springs are since I have it all apart how should I replace the Ubolts and front and rear hangers and brackets.
Not sure on cost of it all but it seems like a logical question to ask so what do yall think, replace everything so it has new rubber and threads?
I dont plan on racing just a period car, I want to work the engine /6 up for more power but thats next year and I want to find a later model engine so no plug tubes and with later mods also.
Please let me know suggestions on the springs and hanger and stuff if you would be so kind.
