Looking for a decent front hood lip moulding. If by chance you have a really nice Valiant emblem that goes in the center of it I'd be interested in that as well

I might have saved the one off the '63 I had years ago. Let me see if I can find it and see what condition it is in.

Do you have a picture of what the trim looks like? This is in a junkyard near me.....

Found this picture, doesn't look to be in the best shape. Haven't checked to see if I even still have it, but maybe this will tell me if you are even interested if I do find it.

That would be great. I don't have a picture of the trim and I think it's in the car which is not stored at my house, but I can look around. Thanks

Don’t know if I saved any of it yet, but now that I know you are interested I will dig around and see tomorrow afternoon.

Found it and got some pictures. Little more beat up than I thought.

Hard to get pictures, but it had 2 good sized dingers. Nothing that (I think) shouldn't be fixable, but not sure it is what you are looking for. And I didn't find any other pieces, only this one.

I do plan to have it re-worked so yeah that is a factor. I realize trying to get decent pictures on a long piece like this are tough-so thank for trying. It looks like there are a couple "push in" dings, but anything that has made a hard crease? Are there any holes? I do have a stainless guy that can work wonders. If you think it's restorable, what do you want for it? I also realize I'll be paying for shipping. Well, let me know. Thanks Tom

I don't think there are any holes, but let me look at it closer.

I will PM you after I look at it.

Hi, I'm still trying to figure this site out. My inbox shows a message from you but it is blank? I got this thing wanted to know if I wanted to start a conversation? none of the previous messages showed up either. Last reply to you was giving you my zip code for shipping cost. Not sure whats going on with the messages but just wanted to reach out in case something is screwed up. So I found my original post and sent it this way

Not sure what is going on. I'm working on finding a tube to mail it so I can get an idea of the cost.

The one looks like a hard crease, but I don't think it is. But I would understand if you wanted to keep looking.

Thanks, I'm trying to figure out a way to email those to the guy that would restore it. I hopefully just emailed those pics to my work email. Maybe I should get his opinion.

Good plan. Rather not send you something you aren’t happy with.

HI, well my stainless guy says he does not look at pictures (he's done it before) and he said pictures can look like one thing but when you get it in person it can be worse. So, he said it's up to me to take the chance. I know you don't know me at all but I'm not a douche bag like one guy on the Dodge Charger site I had a deal with, so would you be open to something like this: Let me know the price with shipping, I'll pay for both, or, just the shipping, send it to me and I'll take it to my guy and get his opinion. If he says he can do it I can then send you money for the trim piece, or if it's not repairable, I'll send it back(at my shipping expense)), or, if I've paid you for it, would you return the cost of the trim if it's not repairable? Shipping alone is not going to be cheap. I wish I could get you my phone number so we could just figure this out that way. Well, let me know what you think. Thanks Tom

I like the idea of you having it in hand. Removes the chance that my lack of stainless experience will result in you having a part you aren't happy with.

I sent you another message in the earlier PM with my cell number. If that doesn't work, maybe we can try a new conversation.

I've struggled to find a cardboard tube to put it in, along with the wood backing you requested. Right now I am stumped and might have to cut down some boxes to make my own. Best shipping I can find is UPS using their extra large simple rate which is $27.30.

Let me know here if you can't see the phone number and I will start a new conversation.
