Hey Badsport I called Cass He is going to check with his supplier to see if the slightly newer gears will work. Bearings and shim kits ..no problem.

If you cant get parts I have a couple used rears for sale.

Does any one know if the new diff. internal parts kit (side gears,spider,etc.) "C" clip design will fit this odd ball 1964 early 7&1/4 rear. It has the pressed brgs. Cass said it is not listed as going back that far , but it doesn't mean that it would not fit. Hate to buy & ship here and not work. He can't take it back (special order)

thanks for the offer Signet. I will keep it in mind, I am trying to stay all original. I do have an xtra 71/4 rear to take apart & see if it is any better.
