Here are some pics of numbers on my tranny can anyone help identifity the trannt. Iveen told its a 904 auto here are some pics

original trans? 904.. looks like a 904 but the pics aren't the greatest.

easiest way to tell is the trans pan..

The transmission part number is on the driver's side just above the pan rail on a flat area between the cooler line fittings and the neutral safety switch. That will identify the case.

Agree with the ^^^^^ that the pan pattern is the simplest way. Also the length of the housing differs between models.
