I'm looking to add seatbelts to my 1965 Barracuda that does not have seatbelts, bucket seats in front and bench in the rear. Are there already mount points under the carpet? If not, how difficult will this job be? Anything I should know?

The mounting holes are already there.
My 64 had rubber plugs in the mounting holes from the factory as belts were optional.
You should see them from under the car 2 near the transmission tunnel and directly across not far from the rear of the front seat mounting bolts. The rear are located near the rear frame rail floor to the inside of rail and where the trans tunnel ends.
So no holes in the rug from the factory. 60 years later things may have changed form previous owners.

To update my post with answers, my front seats had threaded mounting holes ( 7/16" -20). Rear seats have no such holes, I'll be drilling, mounting a 90 degree bracket, and mounting the same kit I bought for the front seats (from Classic Industries).

The inner holes already existed and had rubber plugs in them.

The outer ones I had to drill. Be careful not to drill through the brake line that's running in that area on the driver side.

Okay thanks for that, and great job on the interior! I'll have to go back and look again, the underside of the car has the factory undercoating and the interior has sound deadening applied so I'll have to peel that up and peek.
