65 Barracuda

As far as I know, the kickdown linkage was the same between two barrel and four barrel. The bracket for the throttle cable was different though.

The rod to the carb is a different length, other then that the linkage is the same between 2-4 barrel cars.

I have the Rod to the Carburetor, I have the engine bracket to hold everything, what I need is called the Accelarator shaft to Bell crank housing Rod.

I'm actually talking about the # 9 rod, I have everything else... It seems to have a curveture to it?

See it here in this pic? Its the longer straight one on my 66, but may be different on your car for some reason!! Need one of these just PM back and ill set you up!! Geof

I know you want original, but for others, I am pretty sure a later kick-down will work with our cable-shift tranny. At least I grabbed the linkage from a 4 bbl 90's 318 Ram Van. I don't think the kickdown shaft location changed on the trannys and the shift cable shouldn't interfere.

The later linkage is a simpler design. It was a pain getting the bolts into the back of the head on my 1965, with the engine in the car.
