65 Barrracuda Custom Spinner Wheel Covers?

Nothing special about the 14.5.5 wheels - good ones are just hard to find.......look for later A bodies up to 1972. The other scary part is the lugs....they were longer than stock and of course left and right. On the caps - 1966 had a different center with the standard Plymouth emblem in the center instead of the Valiant - V.....just keep an eye out for those.....

I read here that I’m not the only one that can’t part with parts. I have a set of NOS 66 14” wheel covers. I have very nice covers on my 66 so they are 3 are tucked away and the 4th one is on an original blue streak tire on the wall for display. Not for sale

Here you bees. You can see where my finger is. That extra space there between that first bend and the wheel center is how you tell they are 5.5" wide. The narrower wheels don't have that extra space. My set of 14” will be on my garage wall for the time being while the barracuda is under construction.

Check marketplace and ebay for 14x6 sbp chrome reverse wheels.

They are listed on the regular, most rusty and inexpensive.

Clean, sand, blast, or just slap caps on, whatever.

Can even find some 14x7 too.

Interesting! Never thought about using a set of chromes and just having them blasted. Would allow me to get a wider tire under the ole barracuda.

i was reading a webpage today that broke down some of the details and option for the 65 barracuda. One option was for a set of custom spinner wheel covers. I’ve never seen a barracuda with a set of these installed on them so I gotta ask.

Is anyone running a set of the custom spinners on their barracuda?

Actually - these same Dodge caps came on my 1965 Cuda I bought in 1975 so the factory 14" Cuda caps were rare even back then....I liked them but they were sure heavy.....it's a good looking hubcap.
