I am looking to restore a 65 Dart 270 Station Wagon and I need some interior parts..Here is the list

Steering column with automatic shifter and indicator
Steering wheel
Factory Speedometer
Gas gauge
Side Mirrors
Roof Rack
Factory AM radio
all door panels plus rear panels

This car has an aftermarket floor shifter in now.I am certain that it came factory with shifter on column. Can anyone tell me if this is right?

I have never seen a wagon with a factor floor shift unless it's a 4 speed... Someone probably took the steering column out when they installed the aftermarket shifter

I think I still have the stock column shift (cable) steering column from my wagon. Its fawn in color and I think its for power steering. I will look for it this weekend. Let me know if you are still interested.

nbark65dart,
You may want to verify which transmission you have in the car now... If you have the old style (factory cable shifted) still in the car you can use the column 1965fish is offering up. If you have a newer style (66 up linkage shifted) then you will need a column from a '66 a body... This may likely be the case since you have an aftermarket shifter in the car, the trans may have already been replaced earlier and that may be the reason they installed the aftermarket shifter...

you need to find out if it is the original trans wich is cable shifted and you will need a 65 or older column for that if it a linkage type trans you will need 66 column

it is definantly not the original trans nor motor..Im not sure of the transmission but the motor is a 318..Its possible that I will need one from a 66. Im new at all this MOPAR stuff and Darts...I will find out and get back to you..

Thanks everyone...
