65 dart 273 kickdown?

Anyone willing to post a pic of the kickdown bracket from an early a? I haven't seen what is in my car before and it cramps the valve covers. Will a later kickdown work for a 65?

That is correct, unique to any LA motor as the bracket is bolted to the BACK of the head, bottom is more standard but there is little room back there for a conventional setup. Do you need one, I have an extra head bracket. other rods can be fabbed from newer models.

Later kick down will work. I put the later style on my 65. Just had to raise the throtle cable clamp for the high rise intake.
