65 dart guage cluster removal

if got a 65 dart that im trying to remove the gauge cluster so that i can clean it up as well as the rest of the dash. Ive removed all the screws in the cluster its free on the right side butt the left side from the speedo and the wiper and headlight knob seems like ive missed something plzz help

Yes, you need to remove the light and wiper switches to remove the cluster. With the battery disconnected, remove the wiper switch knob with an Allen wrench and the remove the nut holding the switch to the cluster. Next, pull the light switch knob out to the full "on" position. Reach around to the back side of the switch and depress a spring loaded button to release the knob and post assy. The release button is on the opposite side of the wiring plug. Once the knob is out of the way, you can now remove the nut holding the switch in place. The cluster should now be loose on that side.

thanks cudamark i got the light switch off butt i cant find the allen screw i need to remove on the wiper switch is it on the back side of the switch up in the dash?

It should be on the bottom side of the knob itself.
