Good Morning!
Today I got behind the dash of the Dart and solved my lack of windshield wipers! I was correct in diagnosing the switch as the issue, however it was not that the current switch was broken, rather the wiring was incorrect. Switching some cables around and voila we are able to drive in the rain!
Pulling the cluster out allowed me to get some insight on what other things needed to be done though. First off, what a gorgeous circuit board, I've seen pictures of it but actually holding it is neat. The thing is a work of art in my opinion. Second, it would appear that three out of the four pins are missing on the left side of the board... which diagnoses why the left side of my gauge cluster does not work.
This would be an easy fix if I was the one that broke the pins and I had them in my possession, but they are now long gone. Which leaves me wondering, how do I go about fixing this?
I've looked at some of the computer part sites and it seems they sell a variety of pins that should be able to be soldered on, I've also read about people using brass screws and other odds and ends to remedy this.

Clean a section of copper in the circuit you need to connect to, solder a wire to it.
Then solder male and female insulated spade or similar, plug them in appropriate circuits.

There are a few threads here and FBBO about replacing those pins.

I've seen missing pins replaced with #10?- #12? (pin size) Machine screws from the back with the nut run down.
I have repaired separated pins by using a slightly spread cotter pin from the back, - up inside the pin-shell, to hold it in place - then re-solder pin to circuit board.

Why not eliminate your present problems and possible future ones by replacing that circuit board while you have that dash apart.

Heres a great source that many of us on here have used.
