Man, the only thing I hate worse than a dumb a__ is when I'm the dumb a__. Located 10 min. from Akron, Ohio. 30 Mi. from Cleveland 15 min. from Ohio Turnpike. 15 min. from Summit Racing. Will deliver first 100 mi. Car has had welded in frame connectors since first raced so no twisted car issues, doors shut like new. No mini tubs but deceased previous owner had slicks mounted. He had a fuel cell but ran line through grommet so entire trunk floor intact. I used a new Quanta fuel tank with 3/8 pickup and sending unit and fuel line to supply the Carter hv mech fuel pump currently in car. We also installed hurst roll control. My goal was a nice 12 sec. car that can be driven to track and back and I'm delighted with outcome. Purchased from estate after p.o. passed away. Car competed successfully for years at Quaker City, Thompson, 42 and other tracks in Ohio and Pa. Best time slip I found in car was 13's but friends of p.o. told me at a car show that car had a best of high 12's with the built 318 that was formerly in the car at some track near Youngstown. Some pics show car as I purchased it. This car is only on it's 5th fill up since completed.

    Thanks,

I had several guys from Canada all over the car at Norwalk but they were worried about an out of country purchase. I later found out that it isn't a big deal.

It,s no big deal,I purchased my car from Alabama last December and had it shipped up(very minimal rust). As long as you have all the paper work sent to the border 72 hrs. before crossing,it shouldn,t be a problem. All old cars in Ontario have either been restored or garage kept it,s whole life.My car is original body and paint, not bad for 44 years old.Did I mention I hate bodywork.LOL

    65Vart,

The only things that would make me like my car more would be a red interior and a 4 gear. The bad news is that the misfortune that is forcing me to sell some of my toys is resulting in two knee replacements. Right now a stick is out for me. I too am a sucker for rust free and living in the heart of the rust belt I remember how badly these cars melted from the salt. A bunch of my bowtie buddies used to race with the former owner of the Dart and turned me on to it.

Thanks for the offer. Love your truck but I already have a Ram 3500 dually with a Cummins. I just decided last night that I would trade for a pristine Toyota 4Runner 4wd if i could find the right deal. Talked with a guy in Az. that has a mint 2001 that he wants 9K for.
