65 Dart Swapping from drum to disc?

Hey everyone in a bodies land, I'm here with more questions since I don't know anything :).

I want to convert my car from drum brakes to disc. I definitely can not afford to buy the swap kits that are like $800 etc, so the plan is to just scavenge junk yards until I find a car with disc brakes that I can steal them off of, what i'm wondering is what cars you guys know of are compatible with a 1965 Dodge Dart GT.

Also, another question. If you're gonna be swapping to disc, is it necessary to do front and rear? Is it recommended?
 
No you don,t have to do the rears also.I do believe that Wilwood sells a disc kit for your 9 inch drum spindles.I could be wrong,but do a search on the Willwood site.Good luck.
