I have the gauge cluster out of our '65 Dart for repairs and was surprised to find no voltage limiter plugged to the back of cluster. Is it mounted some place else or does it have a limiter for the gauges at all? It's been 30 years since I've owned an early A Body, been playing with the '67 up cars since.

Yes, inside the fuel gage until ~1967 or ~1973 if a tachometer (Rallye dash). I installed an electronic "voltage limiter" (<$30 ebay) in both my Dart and Valiant. Search for that w/ "Plymouth". I also adjusted the output voltage and tweaked the gages until my temp gage read correct w/ test resistors and my new fuel sender read correct. I needed to add a few parallel resistors on the dash backside to get the later perfect (search my post). Several vendors have photos showing how to disable the factory limiter inside the fuel gage.
