Hello all, I am trying to replace a very poorly done dual exhaust on my 66 Cuda 273.. I have no oil filter adapter on the engine and am thinking it is required for the passenger side ehhaust routing... Yes or no... Thanks

Yes, there should be a 90 degree oil filter adapter that makes the filter sit parallel to the length of the car.

Here is a picture of my 66 with a 273 and you can see the 90 degree oil filter adapter.

I don't think that the adapter is needed. You can still fit exhaust through there without it.
To me, I think the adapter adds complexity and another possible leak. Yeah, you can make them work but they can also be a pisser if a leak sprouts up.

Beyond the oil filter... early trans cross members aren't designed for right side exhaust pipe. The single left to right fuel tank strap gets in the way of right side pipe also. Good luck with it.

Not for a bargain buggy but Accurate LTD has systems for the early A's. Their HP single system is very very nice.
