I ordered a disc brake kit with a-arms for my 66 Cuda. The a-arms I received are 1/4" wider at all bushing/a-arm widths that I measured. The company says the arms they sell are only for a-bodies, and surround the 1973 Dart.
What can you guys tell me? Is there a difference in a-arms on the 66 vs the a-body 1973 dart?

should be the same width. Only difference is the ball joint size.

They tell me they only sell the a-body a-arms. How could they be 1/4" difference in width? Can quality control REALLY be so bad on a stamped arm?

I bought it as a "Right Stuff" kit.

Maybe the old ones were bent in. I have seen that on old cars. do they match the width of the mounting point? the installed width of the bushings is critical . you measure that yet?

The old ones are not bent. I measured in several different places on the old and new arm from both sides, as well as the brackets on the car. It is a consistent 1/4" difference.
