How do I remove the GT emblems by the sail panels ? Do I need to get behind the headliner and cardboard sail panel to remove emblem from body ? Don't want to butcher the interior to gain access. I'm repainting the body. Any suggestions.

Yes, you are forced to remove the sailpanel and the headliner just a little bit to get access to the nuts. Good luck!
