66 valiant signet convertible Barracuda Conversion

-
Picken on the Road. These are pics from Rat Rod Al at our house. Starting with Post # 44. One of them you can see the 67 convertible in the background. It has new rear quarters and dual exhaust 68 lower valence mocked up but not welded when this pic was taken. Keep up the good work. Getting rid of that 2 tone was spot on. Good luck with the fold down rear seat fitment. It looks like it belongs there in the pic already.

When you got a sweet deal on a 4 speed console and can’t afford an a-body console shifter but you got a welder…

That's basically what I did on my '70 Duster 4-speed shifter. Started life in a '75 Dart Sport managing an OD 4-speed. Cut, add bracket, weld. (Too many years ago, no pics.)

Been a while since I’ve posted anything on this. Over the last few months we’ve been stripping it down to bare metal. Then did all the necessary welding and body work. Then epoxy primer sand filler primer more sanding. Then did white base with a metallic tangerine pearl mid coat more sanding then clear. Start assembling tomorrow then polish next weekend. I’ll post the final pics in the next couple weeks.
