'66 Valiant tire/wheel combo?

I have a '66 Valiant Signet 2 door hardtop, 273, with an 8 3/4 rearend. I was just wondering if anybody had read the article in Mopar Muscle mag, (Dec. '03) about the '64 Valiant with the 17" wheels. It says he runs a 215/45/17 on front and 245/45/17 on rear. Does anybody know if this is possible without moving the rear leafs in? And what backspacing would that be front and rear? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I'll give you a bump to the front again. Cerwin has 17" rims on his 66 Valiant, but I'm not sure of the width, backspacing, or tire size.

This is the only place I know where you can get small bolt pattern 17's.
I think he also does custom offsets.
