Another rare pair...first is a 1969 coronet R/T with a 440 automatic, check out those cool wheel covers :glasses7:

The other is a 1966 Monaco 500 :D

Both are pretty dirty but not painted so that makes it nice to restore them :happy1:

GOT a "spare" set of those Max Wedge headers man? GOOD GAWD PM me! LOL

I have 1974 Satellite Sebring Plus so I collect the 73-74 Road runner kits and promo's....I have the original release unbuilt from 1974, then some other releases over the years where it wore GTX badging, then recently re-released. I also have some cool funnycar kits, the MOPOWER kit is a Satellite and also have a Shirley Muldowney kit, strange thing about this is she NEVER raced a 73-74 Satellite funnycar, only a 1972 so its kinda odd :glasses7:

That 1:1 scale real life Sebring,is the best of any 71-74 B body ,I have seen. And the best looking,in my opinion.

:holy cow ....what an awesome thread ......can spend hours looking at this stuff.

That looks like a max wedge air cleaner lid on the 66 Monaco ......looks like the 67 BB a-body one but with the small cone section around the wing nut (non pie tin type) :)

Keith, You have some awesome kits and parts etc... I was big time into kits as a kid and had shelves full of built kits, I had even won a trophy at the county fair for 1st and 2nd place. I had a ton of spare parts like you did, but sadly when I was a senior in HS we had a house fire and I lost everything. Seeing some of the kits you have bring back memories of the kits I built.

Actually I have to thank this site and the members here that are into model cars for getting me back into them again. I really wish I could find a couple of the kits that were my favorite. Ive looked but my memory plays tricks on me and I tell myself those are not the ones. I dont have the talent I used to have but that comes with time.

Ramie,
I feel yer pain with the house fire. I'm sort of doing the same thing, I lost over 1,000 models to a house fire....I'm NEVER going to get back what I had.....BUT just a couple, you know? I miss all the damned Dodge trucks I had.....I musta had 20 of the things, that I paid less then $8.00 NEW now you can't touch one of them for under $100! I just don't have that sort of money....BUT to locate a couple Little Red Express Avenger 150's I'd be happy! I owned a REAL '78 Warlock, as my first truck.....Then I had a '78 Power Wagon......I'd LOVE to do what I set out to do then was to model BOTH those trucks.....Never got to do it....Work didn't allow me too! BUT if I can model those 2, and maybe one other that my Dad had, I'd be happy! (I got a thought to model my Dads old work truck too. BUT thats pushing it....) ALL were some sort of Dodge pick up!

GAWD lookin back on this thread, I SEE A LOT of parts, I'd LOVE to model! HELL for that matter, I see A LOT of models I'd LOVE to build! :evil4: :poke:

Keith, I want that 70 GTX :) Want to sell or trade that one?

Keith lets make a deal - I have a valiant promo in primer, a Strombecker 66 Barracuda slot car set minus the cars, and my 79 360/A727 trans and I come to you for the Miss Mighty Mopar cuda, 1 Lil Red Express, Stardust funny car, and teh Color Me Gone funny car.

To sweeten the deal I will paint the valiant I have like yours...

Want to find a valiant promo? Search for a Craftsman Valiant that's how we found ours cheap
and a good 70 dart kit can be had from scalecoachworks.com we have one and it comes with everything - including decals - needs a Revell Dart to finish (like the Mr Norm's you have)

Scratch that Scale coachworks is no longer making kits.. their email is scalecoachworks@wi.rr.com

A resin johan 70 road runner can be had from SMH Resins - there is one on eBay for a $25 open bid currently

Thanks for the nice comments, I have more pics yet to take so stay tuned :glasses7:

Just picked up a resin 1970 Charger R/T grille insert for my un-finished MPC kit, grille was probably missing since 1970! Got it for $5 so now I have the correct grille, sweet stuff!

Zac, if you have a 1966 Promo, take some pics and shoot me a PM :glasses7:

The Color me Gone Charger kit and the Judy Lilly kits have been assembled and would need a resto, but haven't looked inside the boxes for years to see what they all need :glasses7:

I will look for it tonight!

Wow awesome models. Thank you for sharing. I really miss Johan kits. They were some of my favorites. I really hope that AMT round 2 starts repopping the 1/25th scale 67 cuda fastback.

I think theres somebody making a resin notchback body shell, rear glass , and notchback interior tub. That works with the AMT fastback kit.

I want to build a notchback replica of my 67.

IIRC I sold this plastic toy to FABO member Motopsycho, its a Duster bootleg leg toy sold in Mexico...never seen another and will probably never see another one ever.....:glasses7:

Real great collection...but this car is not a real Duster, its a Mexican Valiant Super Bee.

Keith, You got to PM me on some of the parts OR talk over the phone on them.....

have you ever seen 66 dart gt 2 door

Speed City Resin makes a 1966 dart Gt. Its cast of a promo so the hood is shut solid, but that can be opened with not much grief. I was going to get one and do a model of the New Comber 'D' dart but the decal company that made the decals is no longer.
