There were no 340s in 1967, so presumably it is an early 1968 cast in 1967.

Can you post pics of the markings showing it’s a 340?

Also picture of trans. Some in trucks and van have extension housing with clip access plate on top or side. Interferes with Abody trans crossmember...Since it looks like cam out of van or truck.
