I guess I'm glad that I originally came from the Pontiac camp many, many, years ago, so I don't get all weak in the kness when I see a shaker hood. To be honest I like the Mopar shaker the least of all. I prefer the Ford, then the early TA. Anyway I really don't like the look of the shaker on the '69. It does look better than I expected, but to me it still looks like an E-body scoop stuck on a car it doesn't belong to.
I have a friend who put an ORIGINAL '71 'cuda shaker on a '71 Hemi Demon just to take a poke at the ridiculousness of the E-body crowd. It looks better on the Demon than that '69, but it still looks kinda hokey in my opinion. I also know of a local car that has a re-pop shaker put on a '66 barracuda. That doesn't look quite right either.
Sorry to be the wet blanket, but shakers are unique to their respective cars, and even then I perfer the Ralleye hood on the Challenger.
