67/69 Tail Lights

Ok. I'm sorry. Let me make myself more clear. I want to convert my 67 Dart GT to have the appearance of a 69 by converting the tail lights to a 69. Has anyone done this that is interested in discussing their experiences? Some cutting is in order. I had an original 'M' code car in 69 and am trying to make my 67 (38,000 mi) look like a 69. You are in luck, 69 tail lights pretty much bolt in, but 68's will not. I have done it several times.

I may need a bigger hammer. The new 69 assembly will not fit. I can imagine the 67&68 are similar.

I was told the cutout holes on a 67 are smaller. Never tried it
