I seek knowledge. I want to convert my cuda to a 4sp inland with console and put bucket seats in. In doing so I assume ill have to I stall the hump for the shifter. But the question at hand is what console am I looking i.have seen 2 types one with the drivers side cut out to accommodate the hump and the other has no cut out for the hump can either one work. 1967 notchback barracuda

Either console body will work. You will, however, need to change out the top trim plates if converting an auto console to 4-speed.

The 4- speed console body is cut out on the driver side differently to allow adjustments to the inland shifter. If you use a Hurst Competition plus shifter , the access from the side is not needed.

Here's my automatic console converted to a 4-speed with Hurst Competition Plus shifter. Looks and works perfectly and looks stock when installed.

Also, you will need 4 speed console mounting brackets. (Mancini Racing)

Also, you will need the reinforcement plate for the Z bar that attaches to the frame and inner driver side inner fender.

Hope this helps!

I have a 68 console for sale, here is a picture. I also have the correct Hurst handle, shifter ball, and new upper boot. PM me if you are interested, they are not cheap...
